Drive to Kargil via Sonamarg– Zozi La Pass– Drass – Overnight stay at Kargil.

Early Morning drive to Rangdum (SuruValley) via Sanku-Panikhar. Over the Pensila pass , en-route visit the Nomadic camp, & shepherd houses. Enter the Suru Valley : One of the most beautiful regions of Ladakh. Visit to Rangdum Monastery. Overnight stay at Rangdum.

Early Morning drive to Padum. On the way, a magnificent view of Nun Kun Peak and Dran Drung Glacier. Spot some wildlife including Marmots as well on the way to Penzi La. Explore few small lakes on the way to Penzi La. Overnight stay at Padum.

Early Morning depart for Leh. En- route visit to Rock Carved Statue of Matriya at Mulbek and Lamayeru Gompa. Arrive at Leh by evening. Spend evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Leh.

Early Morning depart for Sangam (confluence of Indus & Zanskar Rivers), Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Kali Mata (Temple of Guardians in Spituk monastery) & Hall of Fame. Evening visit to Shanti stupa, Samkar Gompa and Leh palace. Overnight stay at Leh.

Wake up at 6:30 am. After early breakfast proceed to Pangong Lake on the Indo China border. Pangong Lake is situated in the northeast of La, 4,350 meters above sea level. The long and narrow lake lies in the neighborhood of the famous Chushul Mountains. The size of the lake is best inferred from the probable etymology of its name, Pangong, which means extensive concavity. The mirror-calm water is cold, clear, and extremely salty. Return to Leh by afternoon. Visit Hemis monastery, Thiksey monastery, Shey Palace en-route. Overnight stay at Leh.

Wake up at 5:30 am. Early morning depart for Nubra valley via Khardong-La (80 kms round trip / ALT: 18,380 ft.), the highest motorable pass in the world and recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records. In the afternoon visit to Sumner monastery and 515 years old Diskit monastery situated on a hill top giving panoramic view of the valley After Diskit drive to Hunder you will definitely be overwhelmed to see the Bactarian Camels (Shaggy double hump Camel) around White Sand Dunes at Hunder. You can enjoy the camel ride (at your expense). Overnight stay at Nubra Valley.

In the morning after breakfast proceed for Leh, once again driving via Khardungla pass, the World Highest Motorable road. Return to Leh by afternoon. Evening free to explore Leh Market. Overnight stay at Leh.

After breakfast depart for Manali by road. Via Pang and Sarchu. Overnight halt at Sarchu in tents.

Arrive at Manali by evening and spend it at leisure. Overnight stay at Manali. Ladakh tour ends with unforgettable sweet memories.

 

LEH TO LEH

Please Note: Trip starts from Srinagar, the participants should reach Srinagar on 13th July 2013. In any unavoidable circumstances (like weather change, lands slide, permits, etc… or natural calamities), itinerary may change or even the trip could get extended, in this situation the participant shall bear the extra expense at actual.

Home stays or Guest House accommodation in Rangdum / Padum 3. All meals in Hotels like Srinagar / Kargil / Zanskar /Leh/ Nubra / Manali on MAPAI basis. 4. Cancellation Rules; 1. Registration amount would be 25% of the total cost of a trip and it would be non-refundable. 2. In case of cancellation made between 5-10 days from the date of departure date, 50% of the total amount would be non-refundable. 3. In case of cancellations made 4 days from the date of departure, no refund shall be admissible.
